School tours are something we all looked forward to the moment they were mentioned. Here at Outdoor Discovery we have a fantastic package for schools looking for something a little different.
This package happens at Newcastle woods just outside of Ballymahon. We teach them archery, show them how to read a map then we run our schools challenge. The students are broken into teams and compete at all the different events for the grand prize. Or if you prefer not to have the competitive element we concentrate on skills. This is all run to ensure they have lots of fun and go home with a big smile on their faces.
This package happens at Brannigan Harbour on the Royal canal. We take the group out Kayaking and Canoeing in the morning and do Archery and a Treasure hunt in the afternoon. Loads of Prizes and lots of fun.
With this package the kids experience the thrill of Whitewater on the River in our Whitewater rafts and then they experience the craze of Zorbing in a Giant Inflatable Ball. Loads of adrenaline and lots of fun.
The activities happen around Ballymahon on the canal, river and in the forest.
There is a minimum group size for this of 20 people. We can cater for smaller groups but the cost per person is more expensive.
The activities can be timed to suit your requirements. Usually 10am - 3pm
