Go Whitewater Tubing this year

Whitewater is a brand new sport in Ireland. Our local river Inny in Ballymahon is ideally suited to give you a taste of the whitewater environment from a tube. We suit you up with all the necessary safety equipment and take you through the ups and downs of the rapids on the Inny

Floating down the Inny is suitable for anyone. No experience is necessary. We have a minimum age of 8 for this activity. Children between 8 and 9 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Tubing on the Inny contains the following:

• We provide all the right equipment for you
• Talk about safety on the water: The Flow, Hazards on the river
• Cover the basic paddling strokes: Forwards, Backwards, Turning and Stopping
• Get started on some small rapids before running some of the bigger ones repeatedly
• A good dose of splashing and getting wet
• Play some games along the way and have lots of fun
• Learn how to swim down a rapid (only if you want)
